The STORM Project  The Science center for Teaching, Outreach, and Research on Meteorology (the STORM Project) at the University of Northern Iowa was established through a cooperative agreement between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the University of Northern Iowa in August 2000. The STORM Project has been actively working to initiate, support, and coordinate education, service, and research activities that relate weather information, remotely sensed data, and conceptual models of the atmosphere to relevant user communities in Iowa and the Midwest. Programming focuses on curriculum development, meteorological decision support, and remote sensing.
