BETAL Community  The BETAL Community focuses on pre-service secondary science teachers, both undergraduate and graduate students (MAT). The intention is help the students make connections between their content areas (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Physics) and the pedagogy that they are learning in their science teaching methods courses.

Skunk River Navy  The SRN focuses on first year Biology majors, although other students, faculty, staff, and community members also participate. The activities include water quality monitoring, biodiversity monitoring, and trash removal from local streams. These activities relate to the introductory biology course being taken by the first year students.
