Farming for Energy: The Harvest of the Heartland  The Eastern Iowa Community College District will create learning experiences around emerging energy practices to educate all energy consumers. The goals include: 1) produce a documentary on the need for energy sustainability and renewable energy and examine the next generation of technology to expand sustainable energies; 2) develop an educational website and module for grades 6-8; 3) develop a traveling museum exhibit; 4) incorporate the project into a museum exhibit; 5) incorporate energy resources into the ATEEC digital library; 6) energy content experts from business and industry will present information for the general public on renewable/sustainable topics at area libraries.
