Iowa Core Curriculum Sample Units  This IA Department of Education initiative is designed to develop sample units illustrating how to incorporate the Iowa Core Curriculum into the Rigor and Relevance Framework. This committee is charged with developing 5 sample units for teaching high school science that will serve as models for Iowa schools looking to implement the Iowa Core through rigor and relevance. The project runs from Sept. 07 through Dec. 07.
