| Level III Early Childhood Education practicum |
Pre-service project that support future teachers of STEM
disciplines: Early childhood education majors, many of whom
have been badly served in their own math and science
education, learn how to design, implement, assess, and build
on "beginning physics" instruction, integrated with math and
literacy, to meet developmentally appropriate learning
standards for children from birth through primary grades.
Many of them are placed in programs serving low-income and
ethnically diverse children.
