Through a partnership with The Garden Growers, Quad Cities Community Gardening and Davenport Community Schools we provide six sessions of Growing in the Garden, specifically chosen and modified to address Davenport Schools' science standards and benchmarks. This program is offered to first through third grade classrooms in Davenport Schools.

| Science for Girl Scouts |
To assist The Girl Scouts of the Mississippi Valley in the promotion of females developing skills in math and science areas, Scott County Extension offers several six-hour science workshops each year to Girl Scout troops in our area. Through hands-on activities and group work, girls develop skills in math and science while earning their Girl Scout badges.
